1. Donation Refund Policy

Silvis Main Street appreciates your generous support of our mission. As is standard practice for charitable organizations, all donations are considered final and non-refundable once processed. 

We rely on the consistent receipt of irrevocable donations to manage our budget and fund our ongoing charitable activities. 

Exceptions:

• Errors in Donation: If you made an error in making your donation (e.g., wrong amount entered), please contact us immediately at director@silvismainstreet.org within 5 days of the donation date.

• Donor Intent Violation: If a donation was made with a specific written restriction that Silvis Main Street is unable to honor, we may consider a refund in limited circumstances. 

All refund requests must be made in writing by contacting us by email and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be returned using the original method of payment. 

 

2. Merchandise/Product Sales Return Policy

If Silvis Main Street sells products (e.g., t-shirts, books), the following policy applies:

Our policy lasts 30 days. If this period has passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. 

Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and require a receipt or proof of purchase for a return. Consumer rights protect against faulty or misdescribed goods, entitling customers to a refund or exchange. 

• Refund Process: Upon receiving and inspecting a return, you will be notified of the refund's approval or rejection. Approved refunds are processed as a credit to the original payment method within a specified number of days.

• Exchanges/Damaged Items: Only defective or damaged items are exchanged. For an exchange, email director@silvismainstreet.org and send the item to 121 11th St, Silvis, IL 61282. 

 

3. Event Tickets & Sponsorships Refund Policy

Generally, refunds are not offered for event tickets or sponsorships. 

• Event Postponed: Tickets and sponsorships transfer to the new date if an event is postponed.

• Event Cancelled: Attendees and sponsors may be eligible for a refund if an event is cancelled, and participants will be contacted with option
