About the event
Started in the summer of 2023, the east side of the 917 1st Ave building has held a snapshot of Silvis, Illinois. A mural by the artists Crysania Arms & Thomas McGehee presents a glimpse into the town so many businesses and residents continue to call home.
This mural is presented by Silvis Main Street. A huge thank you goes to - La Canasta Bakery & La Michoacana Ice Cream for donating the wall and Anchor Lumber for the donation of paint & supplies. A special thank you to Mayor Matt Carter & the City of Silvis.

Crysania Arms is 24 years old. She is currently married and has a beautiful 2 month old daughter. Crysania is living in Okinawa, Japan as her husband is on active duty in the United States Air Force.
